Initiation occurred by sleeping in the Abaton, after which Initiates acquired the skill of interpreting dreams. The Joseph of old testament fame was an Initiate of the Abaton and could interpret the Pharaoh's dreams. At that time in Assyria Priestesses and Priests wore the robe of many colors after initiation, indicating their ability to communicate with the Goddess Nanshe, the Interpreter of dreams.

Generative Art refers to art that has been composed or created through the use of computer languages or mathematical processes.

Often incorporating randomness and autonomy, the term Generative Art is a way of making art and does not describe the content, outcome or artifact.

Intersectionality

The word comes from critical legal theorist Kimberlé Williams Crenshaw and it is a way of analyzing and understanding the complexities of identity. Think of the traffic at an intersection, which can move in a number of different ways simultaneously, and events may be caused by things that are not readily apparent. Intersectionality attempts to examine all the parts of identity and human interactions, both the seen and the unseen.

What IS Interdisciplinarity ?

In addition to bringing together practices from different disciplines (multidisciplinarity), interdisciplinarity implies both analysis (taking things apart) and synthesis (bringing things together).

Commentaries

These essays, or commentaries, turn on its head the practice of code “commenting.” Commentaries challenge the conventions of software authorship that reify an accepted but unnecessary power imbalance that privileges an elite code-literate class at the expense of popular agency.

Karma files

Can software can have karma ? Why not ? Or perhaps it is the karma of the software creator.

Either way, these are files compiled into source code that attribute, recognize and acknowledge the people and ideas that have contributed to the creation of the code. Version identifiers track the lineage of changes, Karma files track the lineage of ideas.
